Fresh from outings on BC Presents and Human Imprint: Alliance, or Rene (Genr8) & Ivan (Ill Fac]tor) to their friends, have a combined 15 years in sound engineering and production with diverse works for Timbaland, Dreamworks, Disney and NBC under their collective belt. When it comes to D&B however they flourish a combination of Bladerunneresque atmospheres, razor sharp breakbeats and crushing bass that drops like a 174bpm bomb. Their next release on Incite is no deviation from that formula.
A: Lost Contact - {Audio}
Opening with cinematic pads and rolling percussion ‘Lost Contact’ slides along with a silky Sci-Fi intro before the drop brings ten tonnes of speaker busting alien bass! If you like your D&B futuristic and funky this one is for you.
AA: Gannon - {Audio}
Bringing some tribal war drums your way ‘Gannon’ provides the perfect flip side to ‘Lost Contact’. Infinitely rolling bongos and arpeggiated synth lines combined with a snarling bassline and sweeping atmospherics make a strong AA that rounds this 12” off nicely.
