Alesis M1MK2 power problem

    Damn monitors just died, and just discovered theres a fault with Alesis monitors which means that capacitors get fried....if you have a pair of these, chances are it will die of the same cause, 18months is the quoted 'shelf-life' on a few websites

    anyways if your handy with a soldering iron...this will help...

    not a major to fix really. Mine are still going strong. If you do replace the capacitors make sure you spend the extra money and put in some high quality ones. If your feeling board you should prob replace the rest of the caps aswell cause it will be a matter of time before they go aswell
