Hey does anybody in this forum use an MPC to sequence drums and samples? Just trying to connect with someone, who uses one too. It seems like everybody there on the MPC forum only produces hip hop which is o.k. but not my style.

not me but mpc sounds the shit for any music really. check psitechs tunes, he uses mpc for the beat. if its the pads you are looking for theres m-audios midi controller 'trigger' for something like 250 euros which is based on the mpcs interface

I use an MPC2000 but recently moved to a Roland MV8800 similar slightly more flexability. Both good for Jungle esp chopping breaks. I used to use it as main seq with synths into a mixer but now have it slaved to Cubase and keep tracking audio in.
all the beats on my myspace and latest 12 are either MPC or MV...

If you type in Badeshi, his user name in the artist search thing, his page will come up. Kind of sitar-eeish beats. Not bad though..
Also, Psitech was mentioned. I could't find his profile on this forum. Am I looking in the wrong place? Just wondering.

    Back online again...
yep thats my myspace, I need to put some new ones up soon... 'King Raoul' was loadsa fun playing chopped breaks although it sometimes becomes easy to Squarepush yourself i find...
the piano on that track was also chopped and sequenced on MV.
