Side a:
Ahmad (Acid Lab), Ink & Gremlinz debut on Dust Audio with a cutting edge slice of fuelled up jungle.
The prolific German Ahmad lays down the drum foundation alongside veterans Ink & Gremlinz on a track that drags you into a low down, bass-laden, explosive drum & bass tear up.
The sonically charged production on this is not for the faint hearted. Omega Red keeps it true to the foundations of the music yet also manages to twist it into the framework of today's production techniques.
Side b1:
Label management duo Slider & Expose finally unleashes a tune on the vinyl side of the imprint. Reference Point gives its nod to their early influences. With lashes of chopped up breaks, many that you will recognise but are delivered in an unorthodox manner. Complimented by the low reece bassline and haunting strings, it is quite simply a reference point to a sound which still remains respected to this day. Heavyweight by design.
Side b2:
Longtime Dust Audio collaborators Red Army & Clima finish the EP with the half step rattler - Jungle Justice. They waste none of its valuable running time to urgently let you know what's coming. Keeping the drums simple but effective, the bass hypnotic and deep, Jungle Justice will get the head nodding of both the listener and dancefloor movers alike.
