in all seriousness, i am very much looking forward to having a crack at this.

i have some ideas. i want to do a vocal in the style similar to the chorus of this

over it with reggae stab chords and a big roots manuva style lp square bassline.
turn it into a song.
something completely different.

i've been wanted to remix that tune for ages... or rather a 2011 richie stix version as opposed to an actual remix

Sigh I'd really like to take part but just as in the Seba rmx comp it really puts me down that there will be 100000410200401 remixes, that leaves very little room to be original. There will be 139857 'minimal' tunes with clicks for drums and sound completely the same, there will be 23503468 versions with limp chase & status copy drums, plus 2598 amen edits. not to mention the 8383949 versions that are just like the original tune but with a hihat added and another bass hit somewhere.
