Absolutely amazing album.... this, along with Guido's - Anidea (bloody brilliant as well) are albums of the year so far for me.
I thought it would be hard to top the aesthetic and feel of his Hazyville EP, but this sits so nicely along side it, offering some similar vibes of that cold grey take on detriot, but then adding some grade nods to Todd Edwards and even some dark garage with tunes like Always Human and Lost. And Maze is a brilliant cold wave tune, though I dig the extended version I've got on 12" more.
Actress is an artist who I think gives a sound to UK techno, instead of falling into a detriot or berlin camp, and this album is absolutely spot on...
