What's the best way to get an acapella version of a track? I've been thinking of remixing some reggae tracks for practice and personal request of a friend of mine, but am curious as how do I remove the vocal elements of those tracks

Is't there a way, where you play the original track and then play the instrumental at the same time and it phases so you just hear lyrics, then you record that.

(Haven't ever done it myself but have seen my bro doing it)

Apparently you can invert the phase to separate the vocal from the song but you still get bits coming through from the track itself...

I think there is a way to preview the acapellas on acapellas4u but you need to have posted so many bits or uploaded so many acapellas or something!!

It tells you on the site somewhere!
