Ableton sampler quality

I seam to be losing audio quality when I use Abletons sampler . . . .same with simpler. the brightness and width of the sound is degraded. anyone know a fix for this?

should sound exactly the same if you play C3 (default root note)

check the ''interpolation'' setting (far right bottom corner of Sampler), this controls the way the sample is transposed....higher setting = more CPU power = more accurate play back. when you render the track, it will use the ''best'' setting, but for production mode its often better to keep it on something less CPU intensive
