.: A Ton of New DNB Mixes from Dirtbox Radio :.

It's been a while since I've posted mixes up, but here goes. DNS for DirtboxRadio.com is messed up right now, so no Real Media files are accessible, but the MP3's still are. Site is reachable at http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net. Should be resolved on the morrow.

All sets listed in chronological order, 192kbps MP3 files:

>> 10/04 - Renegade Dirtbox

2. ODJ (46:56)
Fast-paced mix with a buncha variety in ch00nz, including some dubs from Evancipation & Phil Scott
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/RenegadeDirtbox-20041004-2-ODJ.mp3

3. Harm City Assassins [Joey Migraine & Maboroshi] (42:35)
Hard, Dark, and Fast... Just what you expect from two of Baltimore's Finest. Check out their show Monday nights on www.jungletrain.net

>> 10/10 - Dirtbox Broadcast

1. ODJ (87:20)
Mostly warmer floor tunes, with some sheer nastiness thrown in for added flavor, ends with some dark Amen joints.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041010-1-ODJ.mp3

2. Telly (89:14)
Yet another undeservedly underexposed Jungle DJ from Baltimore. The set flows really well, has some choice classics thrown in as well.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041010-2-Telly.mp3

3. RsonisT (82:57)
This is a set for the Ragga/Jungle heads. Really neat tracks inside :)
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041010-3-RsonisT.mp3

4. Hooligan & ODJ (74:20)
Holding it down Afterhours Stylee, Hooligan and myself drop some runnin' tunes.

(flyer: http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/images/flyer-20041017.jpg)

1. ODJ (123:02)
Two hours of ODJ (omg!). Starts out with some chill dubby joints, moves along to some roughness at the end. Sweet track by Stamina in there too.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041017-1-ODJ.mp3

2. Godfather Sage (72:40)
Chillout set by GFS, lotsa pretty tunes in there, good for the smokin' massif.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041017-2-Godfather_Sage.mp3

3. Sickboy (82:17)
Tore it down his first time on the show, nice smooth jams, sweet nod-yer-head-type-stuff, progresses to some harder bangin joints at the end.

>> 10/24 - DIRTBOX ALLSTARS 3
(flyer - http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/images/flyer-20041024.jpg)

note: best Allstars EVAR. Allstars is where we get the whole Dirtbox Kru together and throw down. Crucial Carl was out on Biz, but we got everyone else - including our newest inductee, the one and only Shilow. T'was a mad fun night. I took down the ginormous mp3 of the whole night, but if there's enough want for it, I can put it back up on the site.

1. Ricky Ricardo (45:34)
Starts out with some chill yet break-heavy stuff, ends up with some big stompy tunes.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-1-Ricky_Ricardo.mp3

2. Hooligan (46:29)
A driving set of rollers, sexy female vocals, dubby tunes, and some dirty techstep.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-2-Hooligan.mp3

3. Shilow (41:36)
Our newest member struts his stuff right with a sweet mix of techy tunes. There's some great dreamy female vocals in here that I really dig.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-3-Shilow.mp3

4. Phil Scott (44:44)
A lot of techy goodness inside, including a few dubs and some other really sweet tracks I've never heard before.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-4-Phil_Scott.mp3

5. Jerel (46:17)
My boy laid it down solid with this one. Trademark Jerel selection of quality tunes from across the board.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-5-Jerel.mp3

6. Signal [aka Akasha] (45:52)
Ok, this set is all about the dark technical side of DNB. Tons of Robot Death Squad and other orignals, the last track is to die for.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-6-Signal.mp3

7. ODJ (43:24)
I played a really wide variety of stuff for this set, tracks I really wanted to hear at the time. Got some older jems in there shinin, new tracks too.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-7-ODJ.mp3

8. Shade (47:00)
One of my faovirte sets as of late, and one of the best sets I've heard this guy play. Pure evil goddamn madness. Download it now.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-8-Shade.mp3

9. Higgs tha Mighty (41:41)
Again - one of the best sets I've heard from Higgs. Heavy goodness, and that sweet ass Drop it Down track, man - good stuff.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-9-Higgs_tha_Mighty.mp3

10. K-Lungz (62:40)
Lungz held it down for the late-night massif. Little bit of downtempo DNB, some crunchy dark tunes, and deep rollers.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-10-K-Lungz.mp3

11. Afterhours [Jerel, ODJ, & Higgs] (85:03)
This is what happens when you get a buncha crunk djs on the decks at 2am ;) Ferreal tho, we covered a lot of bases on this one. Dunno what the last tune is, but I love it.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041024-ALLSTARS3-11-Afterhours-Jerel_ODJ_Higgs.mp3

>> 10/31 - Halloweeeen Special
(flyer - http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/images/flyer-20041031.jpg)

1. ODJ (92:05)
Man, I'd just orgainized my records again before this set... Dropped a lot of really hard and evil tracks (t'was Halloween, y'know), and worked in a little special intro preceeding election day ;)
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041031-Halloween-1-ODJ.mp3

2. Hooligan (88:08)
Hooligan saved my ass again with the last-minute fill-in set (Abe Froman got called in to work, unfortunately) and TORE it down.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041031-Halloween-2-Hooligan.mp3

3. Lycan (105:05)
Damn good set by the one Lycan, the man had the whole house jumpin! Gotta love the Return of Bowser track too :)
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041031-Halloween-3-Lycan.mp3

4. Grimm Reeper (104:55)
As if we hadn't been bombarded by bombastic beats at this point, the Reeper (oh-so-fitting for a Halloween slot!) further destructorinated the place with flying beats and basslines and shit.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041031-Halloween-4-Grimm_Reeper.mp3

5. ODJ (85:06)
Yeah, this was one of those Muntstep sets. Got into a pretty nice groove at the tho, played some fun tracks.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041031-Halloween-5-ODJ.mp3

>> 11/07
(flyer - http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/images/flyer-20041107.jpg)

1. ODJ (86:41)
Man, had some serious technical difficulties starting out the show, but I played a lot of tracks people have sent me on CD-R. Good tunes inside!
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041107-1-ODJ.mp3

2. Robot Death Squad (114:09)
We had 3/4 of the RDS massif in the house this weekend, lots and lots and lots of fresh dubs.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041107-2-RDS.mp3

3. Just Charlie (77:41)
Charlie's last set for a while, he layed down a really sweet chillaxin vibe. This is one of the guys that really tought me to appreciate the softer side of dnb.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041107-3-Just_Charlie.mp3

4. Afterhours [ODJ & Hooligan] (143:00)
I really enjoyed playing this set... great tag set with two of the PiC. Good spread of stuff, lots of really good tracks.
http://dirtbox.smokeblunts.net/mp3/DirtboxRadio-20041107-4-ODJ+Hooligan.mp3
