Cheers buddy! i use vsti's, for the sub kinda sound i used a synth called Imposcar and the other ones i used this thing called Karma fx, which is a really really really basic version of reactor! But its free and kinda teaches you alot about synths etc, probs the best bit of free software i've found! google search karma fx n download it! worth a go.

Not to bad mate, beats need more layers. maybe 4 layers kicks 4 snares, and pan them left and right a bit. Keep at it tho mate, potential!
