Went to work this morning, got everything done first thing.
First ride of the day, got on the horse and it went psyco... I ended up falling off 6 foot onto concrete, landed on my neck/back.
Ambulance called, put on a spinal board and got taken to hospital, all fine, just very very sore/swollen and bruised. :(

Why does it always happen to me!!! I am pretty lucky to get away unscathed tho...

Shit! Glad you're ok, horses scare the fuck out of me. At Orient they always have police horses for the big games and I always think if they kicked out at someone behind them that would be the end of them. They're massive. Whats your job exactly?

My job title is 'Rider/Groom'... you can call it other fancy stuff, but simple is me!
You seriay dont want to be kicked by one too... i've seen nasty incidents with horses, those police horses are very very well trained, and dont kick.
I unfortunatly work with youngsters, which are basically un touched horses and they are fucking WILD!

Ouch...Well you're already out of the hospital, so yeah, you'll be straight. Probably be sore tomorrow when ya wake up, heh. Usually how it goes, you feel worse the next day almost as much as the actual day it happened.

load up on the ibuprofen, heh. I take it the hospital didn't give you anything for the pain? I mean, like a prescription or something...or they just say take tylenol or something?

P.S. Good luck on that test!

As other said, at least it wasn't anything worse. I had an ex who had a horse and she had a couple of nasty falls, it can't be much fun!

Rest up and i'm sure it will be all good!
