also... i will probably get flamed for this... like a handfull of people were killed/injured, and we had the audacity to name it 7/7 as if it somehow compares to the loss of life on 9/11 (11/9 in the correct date format)

i mean RIP to those who lost their lives, and condolences to the bereived families still though...

I totally agree with you, there are times and places for this sort of mourning (in the privacy of the losts home) 11th of the 11th however is different, THAT should be held nationally as its a true time for rememberance.

its not about acknowledging the terrorists.....its about paying my respects to our dead....innocent people, who was just getting on with their daily business, like me and you.....

why does it have to better another attack for it to be deemed as bad?
our country has a tiny population compared to america, so of course more people are likely to die in an attack over there.....still dont mean the london bombings was not bad!
its relative aint it mate.... think about it. numbers of dead shudnt decide whether or not it was a horrible attack?!?

think your twisting my words here... i'm not saying that the deaths don't matter or that attack a was worse than attack b... but comparing 2-3,000 peoples deaths to 58 or whatever it was?

and as i said RIP to the berived... i'm not trying to troll nothing here!

i know ur not trolling! But who is comparing the two? not me? i remember the day well. i was on holiday in greece and my nan was frantically trying to ring me too see if i was ok (she didnt know i was in greece) or to see if any of my family got caught up in it all....because i do have family that live in london. not knowing for certain until i got a call saying everybody was ok, was a scary couple of hours! its not just the 58 dead people who was affected by this.......

7/7 is just a name....not a comparison to 9/11......it easier to call it that than "the july 2005 bombing which happend on the 7th"

seriously. dont speak ill of events like this....how would you feel in that position? like it was nothing? or like you had just gone through hell and back?

i only said that about decent members, because every1 is happy to post fucking stupid pictures and chat random bollox......but every1 ignored this thread......im not on no high horse dude

some people eh! its all about their own life and fuck every1 else!

i get really annoyed when i see yet another young British soldier return home in a casket. 9 times out of 10 these hero's are younger than me, and they are dying for no reason in a phoney war that has zero national interest....
