54 brings the launch of thier brand new Thursday night concept of all things bass...'54 Presents' with no other than Life Recordings head honchos SIGMA (Life / Hospital Records). Bursting onto the scene in 2007 with an array of high profile releases on labels such as Bingo Beats, Charge, Viper and Ruffige Recordings, Sigma are poised to make even more noise in 2008. Their smash hit All Blue holds the title of being the most-downloaded track of all time on Drum and Bass Arena, as does their podcast mix, which has received over 100,000 downloads to-date.

Sigma's acclaimed live sets have seen them move up the ranks of the dj circuit in a relatively short space of time, playing at some of the most prominent events across Europe and the UK , including one of the largest drum and bass parties in the world in Russia, host to over 40,000 attendees. Most recently, Sigma smashed it on a 10-day tour of Australia with the legendary DJ Hype. One half of Sigma is an ex-DMC turntablist champion, bringing an added flavour to their sets, often performed on three or four decks, which are bursting with the freshest dubplates.

2008 Sigma continue to be hard at work in the studio, completing a remix of Roni Size's classic Music Box, as well as loads of fresh Sigma material. The boys continue to generate interest among the drum and bass community, receiving profiles and coverage on Drum and Bass Arena, and publications such as Mixmag, ATM, Knowledge, DJ Mag, RWD. A recent nomination for best breakthrough dj at the Drum and Bass Awards and a sponsorship with Money Clothing (www.moneyclothing.com) have helped to ensure that the Sigma star continued to rise.

2009 has seen Sigma launch the own record label 'Life Recordings', they've remixed for 'Universal & Atlantic Records' and they have also had there huge hit 'Paint it black' signed to 'Hospital records'... This has cemented them as one of the UK most sort after Drum & Bass acts and resulted in them winning best breakthrough DJ's of the 2009 Drum & Bass Arena Awards. Not forgetting they recently featured on Radio 1's Annie Mac show with a unforgettable mini mix, are are working towards a 12'' with 'DJ Fresh' on the 'Breakbeat Kaos' label.
