A guy at work collapsed downstairs in reception, ambulance turned up 5 mins later, took him away but we've all just found out he's had a massive heart attack and passed away, just like that... he was only like 32 or 33 as well, pretty active guy always cheery and nice to chat to.

really makes you think about how delicate life really is and how lucky we all are to be here...

That's terrible news, sorry to hear that man...

There used to be a girl doing my job here, I've seen her name about the place in the databases and files etc, I thought that she'd got a job somewhere else, turned out that actually she got diagnosed with cancer and died 6 months later... She was only my age, maybe even a bit younger...

Makes you think doesn't it?

it does - i feel much worse for the people who worked with him 'cos he was in a different department, i know a lot of people over there are pretty close - a lot of them have gone home i think. i know its a part of life and happens all the time and stuff but you just never expect it to happen to someone you know.

ive been having weird headaches and chestpains for the last year or so, and whilst i i did had a check up, stuff like just dropping dead one day fly through my head all the time.
just goes to show that you need to be ready for that stuff, and it gets more likely the older you get.
thats not a bad thing imo, it motivates me to do my best at everything, and try to be at peace with myself, and people around me.

there's an old saying... sometimes monkeys die* it just means that there is no rhyme or reason to death.

i booked a haircut at 1630, so i went to the place, of course still on the clock here at work thinking i could wing it, but when i get there theyre all looking at me like 'whatre you oh a haircut you got like an appointment or somethin just sit over there dude' so i sit down on a bench with a bunch of other customers as the hairdressers all casually pass by going 'sooo whos up? who was first in line? whatever you, you come on over here' and this shit goes on until i realize if i wait any longer and eventually get in that chair i wont be back at work today, in fact i doubt i would ever have to botehr with coming back after pulling a stunt like that, so in summation kinki kappers on utrechtse straat is the most arrogant unprofessional place in amsterdam with the bunch of trash working there.
ive got an appointment, we appointed 1630 and im sitting there waiting to be chosen like it was fucking gym class football picking teams again what the fuck has football got to do with getting a haircut is what i want to know playing it like it doesnt matter right playing it like in our trendy hairdressing fag fucking place maybe you wait half an hour maybe more maybe not hang loose man open your mind
the only solace i can find right now is the fact theyre a bunch of fags mincing about with their scissors cutting peoples hair looking pretty

That girl who threw herself under the tube the other day was a friend of mine.

That's even worse - no rhyme or reason to the suicide...............

Happiest thread on the forum right here!

Really sorry to hear of your loses guys. Always a tough one when someone passes away before their prime. Like my bro, for instance. He was only 33. Nearly a year ago soon as well.
RIP to the fallen.

my mates sister died in a car crash on friday night.

17 year old driver was speeding in his dad's bmw, was going so fast that he got air over a bump in the road, lost control and slammed into a tree. 3 dead, 2 in hospital.
