Hmmmmm I think I'm split down the middle with the artist's on this one. Dre is a fucking legend & Eminem is mic murder check out Jay Z's album The Blueprint & listen to 'Renegade', proof enough!!! Obie's tight he's got some good flow & 'Cheers' is a very good debut. But the mood swings when I listen to 50 & G-Unit, he blew up big but none of his work has stood out as been ground breaking or exciting enough for me to dig deep into his back catalogue & life story. Media blew this guy up to large IMO

Well the 50 Cent and G-Unit LP's are produced by Dre and Eminem, which is probably why I love them. Sick sick beats!

The 'Black Album' by Jay-Z is also very good! Really feelin most of the Kelis album too :lighter:

I got hold of a copy of Obie's album a couple of weeks ago, it's been gettin heavy rotation in the car, definately tight production, gotta love his flow too.

I've only skimmed over 'the black album' but what i've heard is in true Jay-Z fashion, lyrical genius!

I think we can all tell that the Eminem and Dr.dre's partnership is only gonna go from strength to strength, they are definately destined for even bigger things (Word has it that Dre's new album should be droppin soon, I canee wait pet)

The jury's still out on G-unit, I definately like the album more now than i did when i first heard it, but there's still something that'll make me flip pass it in the MD case.

Yea I like em, but everyone around here loves them, so that means that all of them are EXTREMELY played out to the point where I can't stand some of em anymore.. but oh well
