Setting the standard for new fresh talent in drum n bass, DJ Kalm has developed a personal sound and style of his own. He had gained residencies at top London clubs and parties such as Home, The Blue Note, Movement and The Clinic and also founded his label Central Intelligence all by the age of 21. Kalm has DJd everywhere from Switzerland to Paris; Portugal to Iceland; Miami to Los Angeles, the world famous Homelands festival in England had DJ Kalm as its guest two years ago, & he made his debut at the Winter Music Conference 2001. Kalm has not only made his mark DJing, but in the studio as well with his remix of Roni Size Reprezents Dirty Beats and the highly acclaimed Venus on Hospital Records Plastic Surgery 2 (and "Mirage" on PS4) compilation, just to mention a few, DJ Kalm has established himself as one of the most innovative and well rounded young producers today. He can develop a variety of vibes with his tunes while keeping his signature flavour. His last 12" release on Bristol based label Tribe Records entitled Sharkbite received glowing revues and has already sold out on Drum n Bass Arena. Coming up he has releases with Dynamite MC from Roni Size Reprezent, Orgon Recordings (Breakbeat Science, NYC), and Hospital Records. Kalm has also done a remix for the Talkin Loud label of their newly signed hip-hop rapper Skinnyman. DJ Kalm is at the pinnacle of a new breed of DJ/Producer in the current London Drum n Bass world.
