256kbps or 320kbps?

    hello people :) im looking into getting a cdj and would like to know if there is a big difference in 256kbps or 320kbps... i use i-tunes to get my dnb but they are all 256kbps size!! is it better to use 320kbps or is there nothing in it?? i use RP8 G2 - Rockit 8" Active Studio Monitors. any help would be awesome... many thanks people :)

    in the bedroom, it doesnt matter, but on a big rig, the distortion will be noticible on the top and bottom end, even 320k has some distortion

    320 is perfectly fine, i wudnt stoop any lower tho not if ur planning to play out

    Not all CD decks play wav's though mang.

    im getting me one of those pioneer 850.. Those things will play everything from wav, cd, usb to a piece of toast! buy cheap, buy twice.

    they will when burnt to CD, unless your using data discs

    Got the same speakers mate.. If you push them to their limit you can deffinately tell between a 256 and a 320kbps tune and its not pleasent. But if you're keeping if fairly quiet then its all good. Only about 20p difference anyway, no? Thats for the places that even sell 256kbps music
