The Union is the one. Badass doc. Nice one for the thread, never been disappointed by documentary threads on here.
King Of Kong. For the retro gamers of the forum. Great documenta'y. Anyone seen Blackfish yet? Need to check that.
lord of the rings. thats a documentary, far as i know. based on the book, which, as it happens, also was a documentary. shit thread. i want to skateboard and get high. x
King of Kong is brilliant. Billy Mitchell is a fucking grade A tool. Also... another game documentary that's on Netflix (I think) called Indie Game: The Movie. Pretty cool. Bit geek-fest... good watch though.

that one bout the garbage pile. highlights the amount of plastic in the ocean..... fuckin shocking ....
Two docs in the list that are not informative but will just make you appreciate some incredible beauty of the world, iow a must see for all dark hardcore pessimists are Sans Soleil and Man With A Movie Camera, the latter being accompanied by an original soundtrack from the Cinematic Orchestra. Light up a big bifter or have a cup of tea with it, thank me later.
yeah what pains me is that its under the surface, i had kind of imagined it a little different, as in floating on the surface, kind of like a landmass, actually i did have plants to build a house on it, and in all truth i had envisioned it like a pirate island made of plastic debris, the size of texas (that bit is true), and i could be the pirate king of it. but being that its under the surface, its coating the ocean floor with plastic as it dissolves, which apparently takes ca 20 years, and the natural disaster of it is holocaust like unfathomable, as it travels its route which is between japan and america along a current of some kind, its depressing beyond beleif, and that documentary, to me, is more about the isolation and cabin fever the crew experiences at sea, which is almost equally horrific. boohoo i cant be macintosh all the fking time boohoo you fking jerk
Chrome, it's working now, idk why it wasn't showing up yesterday And thanks Karl, will defo check out that list, so kind
Ya some Inuits can't breast feed their kids anymore because their breast milk is toxic. TOXIC TITS! And nobody's doing anything about it.
