2015 Sub Zero EP track VS 2010 Hazard EP track

Um .. has anyone noticed the remarkable similarity behind the melody of 'Something For The Weekend' from Sub Zeros new 2015 EP Inside The Beast and Hazards (classic) track from 2010 'Psychedelic' .. Both good tracks but there is a massive nod to Hazard here. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness. And all that.

Hazard -

Sub Zero -
 
Almost uses the same note pattern apart from a slight variation on the 2nd bar.

V. similar though.

Hazard's tune is so much more aggy than Sub Zero's though.

Hazard > Sub Zero.
 
you're not wrong. first thing I thought when I heard that track was that it sounded like tayza - firefist

also Time Traveler off that sub zero EP is not a million miles from Twisted Individual - Donkey Punch

Exactly, if you listen to Zero' track from 00:43

I'm not having a go, neither do I necessarily disagree with every comment thus far, it was just a mere observation. Ultimately this is jump up drum and bass which is pretty formulaic, and no bad thing, I skank in the clubs to it like anyone else.
