Lamborghini revealed its new Reventon supercar. Inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter Jet. Named for the bull that killed toreador Felix Guzman in 1943, the Reventon is basically the ultimate Murcielago in all respects, including price. The super-limited (only twenty cars are being built) supercar costs a cool $1,000,000, and all of them are already sold.Power from its V12 is up around 20 horses over the regular Murcielago LP640. The virtual needle on that virtual speedometer moves from the number 0 to the number 62 in a scant 3.4 seconds and doesn't stop moving until it hits the number 211.

The news reported General Motors is planning to introduce a Targa version of the Pontiac Solstice in the first half of 2009. The Targa is rumored to begin production in January of 2009 at GM's Wilmington plant, with about 10,000 units being built annually. The Pontiac Solstice would look like the 2002 Solstice Couple concept

The Chevrolet Corvette Z03 Concept is a design created independently from Chevrolet by Ugur Sahin Design. The Z03 concept is based on the platform of the Z06 Corvette but with three different engine options ranging from 500 to 750 horsepower. The stylish body of the Z03 is formed from carbon fibre which should result in a total weight saving of 50kgs over the standard Z06

The prtty concept sport car by the Lexus. This Japanese luxury automaker revealed a roadster variant of the popular conecpt car. The LF-A premium sports car concept. Power comes from a V10 under 5.0 liters with something north of 500 horsepower, and shifting is done via a sequential transmission with paddle shifters. I love its beautiful interior and shine color.

The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 unveiled, which will be on the Detriit auto show in January. The ZR1 is the best powful and higheset priced chevy in history. It powered by all-new LS9 supercharged 6.2L V-8 targeted at producing at least 100 horsepower per liter, or 620 horsepower (462 kW), and approximately 595 lb.-ft. of torque (823 Nm). Six-speed, close-ratio, race-hardened manual transmission.. General Motors chairman Wagoner mused, "I wonder what this team could do for $100,000?"

Here are some pics of the new Volkswagon concept car. This is a great way to think of future cars with three seats and an aerodynamic body, detachable trunk which can be stored away light a suitcase, and OLED display.

This is what Fisker's (italian brand car) forthcoming luxury plug-in hybrid will look like. The vehicle itself will be developed in conjunction with Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies, which reportedly hopes to aid Fisker in developing an entire line of "environmentally friendly premium cars." If all goes well, the whip could make its North American entrance at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, but as you can probably imagine, owning such a svelte looking ride won't run you cheap. The company plans to crank out some 15,000 of these creations initially and fetch around $100,000 for each, but until we actually get the word that people are taking delivery, we won't get too attached.

Like the Challenge Stradale was to the 360 Modena, this Scuderia is an evolution of the F430, taking the car from perennial contender in the high-end sports car market to weekend special. Think Gallardo Superleggera, Porsche GT3 RS, et al. In this case the Ferrari drops a couple hundred pounds and gets a slight cavallini bump. In real numbers that’s a weight savings of 100kg (220 lbs.) and 510 horsepower instead of 483 from Ferrari’s 4.3L V8.

The Novitec Tunero F430 is actually a modified version of Ferrari F430 in matte black color which was recently shown by Novitec at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2007. Dubbed as the Tunero, the car features 2 race inter cooled supercharged with new intake system, fuel injectors and oil coolers. The engine runs at 707 hp at 8,350 rpm and 525 lb/ft of torque at 6300 rpm. The Novitec Tunero also can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 216 mph

Weber Unveils $1.5-Million "Faster One" Supercar - All-wheel drive, dynamic power distribution and electronically controlled differentials help the driver apply the massive potential of the Weber F1. The exact 50:50 weight distribution and exceptionally low center of gravity also aid handling, according to Weber. Massive 12-piston calipers grab 380mm brake discs to stop the car from 100km/h in 30m (98ft)
