New & first baby.

New 2 flats.

New car.

New mortgage.

New money and new less money.

New dj and promoting gigs, new break from djing.

New dnb - better than 2006 but still lacking.

New fucking neighbour on speed.

New daddy paunch which appeared after new gym membership - not before.

New work position, old money.

New worries, new joys.

Everything changes but stays the same.

Everything changes but stays the same.

Bit like that line out of "Time" by Pink Flooyd :

"Ten Years have got behind you everythings the same in a relative way but your older..etc "
Get a bit depressing after that bit

2007 was cool!

Highs include:

Getting a job as a designer for Nu Urban and finally leaving my job designing for black metal bands!

Making more friends and having good times.

One of my best mates getting married and having a baby.

Generally finally feeling all grown up..lol.

Turning 27.

Running 10 miles for the great south run.

Seeing designs i'd done in stores.

Finally having enough cash to start saving money!!!

Living it up like gangsters in Estonia!

Discovering how good dubstep can be!

Lows included:

Being rained out at Glade...although this was funny as well

Being single...im bored of my own company now

going on holiday to the costa brava aka..the arsehole of spain..lol

Trying to stop smoking when i go out......still!

As far as DnB goes its been a double edge sword...the good got better and the shit got shitter.

hmm... mixed year.

lost decent job. got another shit job. then got a sweet job im workin in now.

the band i was in broke up as we were about to release our album. they then reformed without me and a couple of the other members.

been to a shitload of wicked nights, met a load of new safe people, made some friends that'll be around for a long long time.

broke up with my girlfriend of 4 1/2 years, which was in all fairness, shit.... but....

...then went to america and came back totally refreshed and rejuvinated and fully back on track now.

discovered i fucking love red wine.

got a nice pair of decks and got fully on course with turntablism after threatening to do it for years.

saw glassJAw at the barfly whilst buzzin on mdma, it was truely the single most greatest experience of my life.

went arse to mouth.......

jokes!

My year was a relatively good one.

Only had one low point that I can think of, but it was one of the biggest low points I've had in my life, which was breaking up with my girlfriend of 6 years.

On the plus side however:

my business started to break even so it was good to finally get back all the money I'd invested. And I've put that money back into another business venture.

Got more involved in the china dnb, met a lot of good people and met a lot of headz in the dnb scene. Also got more involved in other scenes and gave me some encouragement to try to do some other things.

Started in the singles game and had lots of fun exciting sex with lots of nice birds (which after 6 years is top banana), and realised that I'm still wicked inna bed.

I go home to England on thursday, the first time I'll have been back home in 4 years, so it will be good to finally see my family and friends again.

Got promoted twice this year in my day job to a very good salary.

Bought some shares in a bank, and they've done very well. Also saved a lot of money over the year so feels good to look at the hole in the wall and see a number with plenty of digits belonging to me.

All in all, was a very good year for me.
