Nah, I don't feel Pantera at all...

And number 21 was probably South Of Heaven, another great Slayer album.

Or possibly Kill 'Em All by Metallica.

I tried not to include too many by the same artists, and Kill 'Em All is way behind MOP and RTL to me.

Iron Maiden are siiiiiiick. Seen them live twice, was amazing.

But there not Thrash, so that's why there's none here.

Without "cheesy" British bands like Maiden, Judas Priest etc, then Thrash wouldn't be here.

Took huge influences from NWOBHM (New wave of British heavy Metal) as well as punk.

    Anyone into Death Metal?

I was shown some Cannibal Corpse, and singing aside, I liked it. But I'd get used to the singing eventually, as I did with Slipknot and Sepultura.

Who else should I check out?

In all honesty man, these past 5 years I've been so out of touch with metal. Been all about Hip Hop for me.

Only really keeping p to date with a few bands.

But Lately I've been craving it all again!

I've heard about Chimaira but never heard their stuff.

Best 3 tunes? I'll check them out when I get home.

    Slayer were immense.

The thing with Metallica, is James' voice since I've been old enough to go to gigs, is a pile of shit. I heard him singing Master Of Puppets like last year on something, and his voice ruined it.

    Never really heard black metal.
