DJ Fierce & Rockwell (Shogun Audio, Critical, Quarantine)
Feedback is back after a nice summer break to bring you a season full of huge line-ups; expect only the finest drum and bass selection! For our September event, we have DJ Fierce one of the pioneers of drum and bass and also a fresh producer DJ Rockwell, who has been tearing up the scene recently. The sound will be brought to you by the mighty Operation Soundsystem.

Rockwell
Shogun Audio / Critical / Digital Soundboy
Rockwell has become prolific in a very short amount of time due to a series of strong productions, each taking a fresh and different approach to the drum and bass blueprint. With releases on some of the scenes largest labels: Digital Soundboy, Critical, and Shogun Audio, Rockwell has become one of the leading new producers in the scene. With wide reaching support from DJs such as Andy C, Shy Fx, Friction, Noisia and Hype, to Alix Perez, Icicle, Spectrasoul, Breakage and even Radio 1’s Gilles Peterson, Rockwell is one of an increasingly rare breed of producers whose tunes are suited to both the big raves and small intimate dances. Although being introduced to Drum and Bass quite late when attending University in Bristol, Rockwell’s musical background enabled him to pick up Djing quite quickly. Earning his Djing stripes playing week in week out as a resident of renowned Cardiff night Aperture, now he sees himself sharing lineups with many of his peers in London clubs such as Fabric and receiving bookings as far away as St Petersburg. Progressing into production after becoming hooked on Djing, the six years of hard work are beginning to pay off, with collaborations with Icicle, Zero T and Stapleton receiving regular rotation, and with high profile remixes for Sabre, C4C and others outside of the drum and bass scene, Rockwell’s’ future is looking bright.

DJ Fierce
Quarantine Recordings
Fierce is a top-flight DJ and has made regular appearances at Feedback over the last 4 years.
Fierce has been at the forefront of the drum and bass scene since the mid-90's. After being offered an apprenticeship at the age of 17 in the studios of legendary No-U-Turn alongside drum and bass luminaries Nico, Ed Rush and Optical. Fierce was involved in some of the scenes seminal moments such as 'Alien Girl', 'Locust', 'The End' and 'Tightrope'. He went on to be signed to labels Prototype, Moving Shadow, BC Recordings, Renegade Hardware and Virus to worldwide acclaim.
As a DJ, Fierce is second to none, bringing unbridled energy and explosive turntable firepower to the dance floor. Still harbouring an insatiable love for dubplates and vinyl, Fierce really is a DJs' DJ, bringing sounds from across the spectrum and uniquely fusing tracks together in the mix to create a new and fresh sound every time.
