Analogue are back, in the newest venue in Portsmouth, Drift in the City.
Drift have taken control of the city bar which is situated in the heart of Portsmouth and very conveniently opposite Portsmouth & Southsea train station and will be Analogue' new home from November where we will supply this city with yet another heady dose of LIVE drum and bass music.
After another all out successful event in October with 2 live acts: E-Z Rollers & Fineprint Audio, we decided to push it forwards and book 3 of the biggest names in the industry..

Jason Greenhalgh (Q Project) & Paul Smith (Spinback), who collectivity established the C.I.A label around 1997 and also have releases on Goldie's label Metalheadz. Most will also remember their status boosting Bad Company remix of 'Champion sound' as well as the pairs pioneering sound released on high-profile labels such as 31 Records, True Playaz, Reinforced and Soul:r.
C.I.A's sister label Advanced has showcased what was at the time up and coming producers such as Beta 2, Zero Tolerance, Friction, Mathematics and Baron-whose remix of Total Science's Nosher became without a doubt one of the year's biggest dancefloor stormers, pioneering the jump-up resurgence of 2003.
Total Science have released four albums together all of which have been high ranking in the UK dance charts As well as Q-Project being signed to Hospital records in 2005 marketing the start of some interesting solo projects, illustrated in the popular 'Hello My name is Q-Project' EP release, collectively Total Science were in high demand from promoters worldwide for gigs all over the UK and Europe, not forgetting to mention the scoring of a prime-time New Years Eve set in New Zealand and a U.S.A tour lasting three weeks, and their latest tour with live vocalist Riya around Asia in 2009.
RIYA – aka Laura Pacheco - A female vocalist hailing from Birmingham. In the past few months, Riya has been working on lots of new material, which has been getting lots of support by DJs such as Goldie, Fabio, D-Bridge, Spectrasoul, Lynx, Bryan Gee, and Bailey...
Riya's latest signed collaborations include SPY [Rebirth, and Lonelines], TOTAL SCIENCE & SPY [Testimony], LENZMAN [Open Page], and 8 BITS [On Your Mind] on labels such as Shogun, C.I.A, Digital Soundboy, Metalheadz, and Soul:R.

Malachai / Sam Nightbreed / Dj / Producer
Formally one half of nightbreed (ram records) Sam Nightbreed rose to fame in 2005 with the dance floor smash pack of wolves, the track gained world wide support from the likes of Zane Low, Jo whiley, Eddy Temple Morris and Andy C. Also remixing tracks for the Prodigy, Roni Size and Lab - 4. In 2009 Sam set up his own Record Label, Audio Suicide Recordings, primerily for his new collective, Cabin Fever.
Gringo Dj /Producer
Gringo a Dj/Producer from Essex, teamed up with Sam Nightbreed and Regina Rae to form Cabin Fever in 2008. Since then he has gone on to Dj at events across England an in Europe and remix tracks for the likes of Over Lords of the Underground (12.15) Shell Shock (Core Tortion) Pappa G (Be Kool ) and Benny V's (Old School Box)
Essex and London based Cabin Fever formed in 2008 when Sam Nightbreed(Producer/Dj) and Regina Rae (Vocalist) teamed up with long time friend Gringo(Dj/Producer).
This relatively new act has gone from strength to strength, securing a residencey at london's dance concept and djing/live performances from the uk to europe. Along with cabin fever's monthly show on www.planetdnblive.co.uk they have also played on Kool Fm , www.pyrotechnique radio and Cyndicate fm.
Cabin Fever's music has gained support from such Djs as Nerm and D Code (BBC radio 1 & Asian Network) Crissy Criss (BBC1 xtra) Dj Concrete (Diverse fm) Dj x (Lab-4) and a host of the biggest names in and out of Drum & Bass.

Dub Mafia are a dub heavy drum & bass band with
influences drawing from funk, jazz and hip hop. They
play their music 100% live with banging beats, dub
bass lines, ferocious guitar licks, skanking vibes,
scratching, saxophone and soulful vocals.
Dub Mafia are the new culmination of members from
the Bristol based band Blackout (Andrew, Aron and
Matt), DJ Snafu (Se Fire), Jago (DJ vs The Drummer)
and Eva Lazarus (working on projects with DJ
IQ, Brotherman, Cotti, Von D, Pat Dooner and Mr
Loop).
This new exciting group is definitely one to watch,
with a headline slot at Bristol Festival under their
belt it has marked a more than positive start for the
band. Dub Mafia have already got a UK tour lined
up for November with dates in Bristol, Birmingham,
Bath, Portsmouth, Plymouth Newport and London.
Blackout have toured the U.K playing clubs and
festivals since 2005. This featured shows at Glastonbury
2005 and 2009, headline slots at the Ashton
court festival and Godiva festival, airtime on BBC
radio 1xtra, a documentary and interview on Rapture
TV, Record release on Random Audio and a European
tour including Italy, France and Bulgaria.
Dub Mafia are about pushing the boundaries of drum
and bass, encompassing all the members various
musical backgrounds and styles and using dub as
their common ground.
Guaranteed party starters bridging the gap between
ravers and live music lovers, something to keep everyone
happy and out of their seats!
