TALI

Tali is accredited with being the most successful female MC in Drum N Bass of all time.
With three DnB Awards, a solo album, numerous singles and guest vocals under her belt, Tali has MC’d all around the world with many of the scenes heavyweights.
Discovered by Roni Size back in 2001, Tali moved from New Zealand to the UK to sign to the legendary 'Full Cycle Records' and went onto write and record the first female MC album ever released in DnB - 'Lyric on My Lip', on Full Cycle 2004 (and one of the first MC albums ever!) with production from Roni Size, Krust, Clipz, and DJ Die, with featured vocals from Dynamite MC.
Since then Tali has gone onto release various singles and provide guest vocals not only for the Drum 'n' Bass scene but also Dubstep,
House and Electro Producers.
Currently working on her second album, Tali is releasing her L.P September 2011 on Shimon's label Audioporn, and the lineup so far includes tunes from Shimon, The Dirtyphonics, Benny Page, Skism, Lynx and Malibu Rhodes, Atlantic Connection, Ed Rush, and Dubstep newcomers Dodge and Fuski.
The album also includes some special guest vocal appearances, and its anticipated release has already been preceded by singles 'Dark Days'
(Produced by Ed Rush, April 2011) and 'Facing Forwards' (Produced by Fourward August 2011)
As well as this Tali has been working in collaboration with talented trio More Like Trees, Composer and producer Christoph Bauschinger, Scratch DJ - Chicco and vocalists Collette Warren and Amari MC, creating a live and acoustic set of covers of tracks from Tali's forthcoming album, including the highly anticipated single 'Dark Days'.
Having already played several festivals and shows both here in the UK and abroad this summer, this collaboration has led to an acoustic album which has been produced by legendary Ram member Ant Miles, and which is due for release at the same time as her LP.
Performing together on stage these musicians create a lively, positive show illustrating the beauty of Tali's song writing and delivery,
as well as their own incredible talents as musicians and contributors to the Drum N Bass sound.
A show not to be missed!

CRAGGZ

From CRAGGZ and PARALLEL two of D&B's most respected characters who's most recent release is TURN THE PAGE and it couldn’t have come a moment too soon. Since releasing their debut ‘Northern Soul’ LP on Valve back in 2006 the pair have stepped back, regrouped and are now ready to come full force with a brand new super-fresh sound that’s sure to raise heads throughout the scene. Drawing on influences from electronic music past and present from early techno sounds, 80’s synth-pop through to a myriad of contemporary dance music genres, Craggz & Parallel have created a truly unique and daring album sure to quench the most discerning and dance floor tastes whilst challenging the more traditional drum and bass album ideals. Even reverting back to analogue production techniques to combine with the modern creates an experience unlike any other around today so keep you ears open for the genius new sounds of Craggz & Parallel.

“I don't really say things like this much, but Craggz & Parallel are about to flip D&B on its head...” Breakage

“Analogue synths, drum machines & +170bpm = Top album. C&P FTW!!” D Bridge

“Craggz & Parallel have taken a bold step towards a much deeper, more mature and personal sound; locking themselves away for 2 years has resulted in a truly inspirational album that will turn a lot of heads. One of the best releases in 2010 by some way, this definitely gets the Flight seal of approval.” DJ Flight

Craggz and Parallel are no newcomers to the scene, working under various guises for the last 15 years. Their big break however came in 2004 with the massive summer anthem ‘Fizzy Piglets’ which received huge DJ support across the board from the drum & bass scene to Radio 1 big hitters Zane Lowe and Annie Mac. The trio were quickly snapped up by Valve Recordings and contributed no less than three tracks to the labels’ “Spectrum” LP that same year, and soon after they relocated from Newcastle to London to begin work on their debut LP for Valve. Although they had their work cut out for them they wasted no time in setting up their own label, Product Recordings, to
allow them to experiment with different styles. In the space of a year the label released three massive 12”s. Tracks like ‘Flatfoot’, ‘Red Octopus’ and ‘Train track’ showed their flexibility as producers and proved they were in no way one trick ponies. Their next release for Valve, ‘Love Insane’, was an instant success and saw the guys flexing their vocal chords with a mixture of uplifting pianos, big bad beats and bass nicely capturing the sound of summer once again. This track was CPF’s first number 1 in the drum & bass charts, and went on to reach numbers 6 and 11 in the national dance and independent’s charts respectively. Amidst all of this the guys still found time to become one of the scene’s busiest remix outfits; being commissioned to do no less than 13 remixes in an 18 month period, and working for some of the biggest names, labels and artists such as Roni Size, DJ Marky & XRS, Total Science, London Elektricity, and Jenna G to name but a few. By the end of 2006 their debut long-player was nearing completion and talk of a live project to showcase the album led to an invitation from 1Xtra to debut the band as part of their up coming Xtra Bass broadcast. The next few months saw them immerse themselves in getting their live show up and running, calling upon the infamous Jungle Drummer, and enlisting Stamina MC and Deeizm for vocal duties. The 1Xtra gig was a success and led to a string of gigs both at home and abroad and an invitation to record a session for Radio 1 at the legendary Maida Vale studios.

CRAGGZ will be blessing LOOKING SOUND with an OLD SCHOOL and HARCORE set this month.
