£150

I have £150 for to buy a thing.

I have narrowed it down to either Izotope Trash 2 or Sylenth1. Obviously these are incomparable but I just wanted to see what people thought of them.

Trash seems pretty sweet from the demo and I prefer it to ohmicide, saturn etc. but it's a lot for a distortion plug. Sylenth1 seems to have a big sound but I haven't been too far into it.

To be honest I don't need either but just want summat.

Or any better way of spending the £150

What have you got so far? A list of your current plugs might make it easier to suggest things others would guess they would miss using your setup

Yeah £150 is a lot for a distortion plug-in. I recently bought D16 Groups Devastor (multi-band distortion) vst for about £30 so maybe take a look at that.

And they recently released an new analog synth vsti called Lush which is £120 so you could get both on budget!

Sylenth1 looks cool but I think the D16 combo I just mentioned is a much better deal.

Save another 50 and get Absynth 5, imo.

Definitely wouldnt suggest spending 150 on distortion!
