    DAW sound

Is this true that each daw sounds somehow different or some people only just think they sound different? I ask because some people tried to build song in different daw's using exactly same vst's, effects, settings etc, and they say that for example tune in Nuendo sounds better than one build...

Total new guy here, Please help me.

As I've recently started to produce d'n'b too, I also got some questions. I just can't make interesting tracks (yet). I am trying everything, but can't make them to feel complete, with lot of details and keep them interesting. So question is, how you keep your tracks interesting (for...

    HayDee - Dark Liquid

Thanks for your suggestions. Changed a few things, but I dunno, can't get piano to sound nice, liquid style, still much to learn :) Maybe I should try to make jump up or dark dnb with my drum beat.

    HayDee - Dark Liquid

I wanted piano to sound something like jazz / house music style. As far as I know, there aren't very noticeable reveerb on piano, but I can try something with it, thx :) Also, mby piano melody should be a bit slower and calmer, dunno, I'll try to do something about that.

    What program do you use?

Fruity in my opinion isn't good because it makes quite "electronic" sounds "by default". I dunno how to explain that, when I try to make something using only fruity's VST's and samples, beats sound very simple, no matter how I try to add or change something, it just doesn't sound good. But, FL...

Thinking about making the switch from Reason to Fruity Loops.

Yes, I recommend to try NI Battery. It includes many different good drum samples and also u can tweak those sounds through Battery included FX's, like compressor, limiter etc. People say, NI FM8 also is great synth. Can't say anything about Kontakt, haven't tried yet.. 249$ at Ebay :D.

Thinking about making the switch from Reason to Fruity Loops.

Hypersonic - this is good plugin coming with many different good synths, piano, sax, drum and other included sounds, quite easy to work with. You should check this one out. And then of course Native Instruments vst's, like Massive, Kontakt with 33 GB of sample library :) or Battery, which comes...

    Track producing techniques?

I agree, it's not so easy to produce tracks when you haven't developed some basic personal style for your songs which people like. I guess, afther that, when u have some nice synth's you love, really good self-made breakbeats and other things, it will be easier to develop songs with your own...

    Track producing techniques?

Hello ppl! ;) Please give me some advise for making dnb in FL studio. How do u usually produce tracks? For example, make some intro synth, slowly increase volume for bassline, then play some sampled or self-built breakbeat... etc. I don't need tutorials on how to work with FL studio...
