Hello guys. I am new to DnB. Actually, I stumbled upon this genre because I'm in love with a certain soundtrack and a little research indicates it is closest to DnB.
    Here are some examples.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=marVvYVOtEI
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_ASHUkb6p0

It sounds like Drum n Bass to me. What I like the most is the very quick beat, melodic bass associated to the rest and general variety of beats throughout the tune. As you could notice from my examples though, I mostly need melodies, variety and a climax during the tune. I don't care if it's a 20 minutes tune that doesn't really repeat itself or if there are 1:30 loops like in my examples, but I use these when running/exercising and it gets me real high, so I wish I could find something similar to those...

I would really appreciate so much if someone could indicate an artist whose work resembles my examples...Or am I wrong and is this a different type I'm looking for?
    Thank you...

    guys really?

this is a thread to help people that are new to drum and bass find what style they like.
don't spam it with your own stuff. its just rude to be honest.
use the new talent / track review section of this forum. you will get more interest there.
i assure you everyone will see your spam in here and automatically think no thanks.

It's not really my preferred type of drum & bass so I can't give you many examples but check out stuff by Blu Mar Ten, LTJ Bukem (or anything on good looking records), High Contrast, and Sabre....some links below
