Founded in 2009 by Skitty, 'Foundation X' quickly made an impression in the Drum And Bass Scene, releasing music from the likes of Nolige, Morphy, Loxy, Equinox, Skitty and many more, relaunched in 2015, Foundation X are now taking things to another level, with a series of ltd edition vinyl and top quality digital releases.
Fresh from the overwhelming success of FDX004 which topped DnB vinyl charts for weeks, we are proud to present the first release on our FDX Black offshoot, which will showcase a slightly different side of FDX music. Starting with a split 12” EP featuring scene stalwart Threshold and rising Mancunian female artist Djinn!
Two tracks of contrasting but complimentary DnB heavily drenched in atmosphere.
- Demons Come And Go - Threshold shows off his talents with a soulful liquidy roller. The smooth breaks, heavy sub and uplifting musical vibes combine together to create a solid head-nodding journey you'll want to listen to again and again.
- Shadows – This highly anticipated amen workout from Djinn whilst in stark contrast to the flip is still heavily laden with soulful vibes but of a much darker nature. Reminiscent of Source Direct's production, moody pads, a haunting vocal and razor sharp edits are the order of the day here!
