Has the laser run out on my CDJ?

My CDJ400 does not read CDs anymore and ejects them a few seconds after putting them in but still plays off USB. Does this mean the laser needs replacing? Makes sense as I bought them 2nd hand a few years ago.

I have heard lasers are cheap and quite easy to fit, just wanted to make sure that was definitely the issue.

Do they still sell those laser cleaning cd's?
I'd try one of those first, prob only £1 of ebay and might solve your problem before it gets expensive.
