Comedians - who do you like?

    Anyone into comedy? At the mo im liking a geezer called frankie boyle(mock the week), russel howard, Jason manford(quality observations) dont mind bit of bill hicks. Jimmy Carr is funny at times. Lee evans can be funny does my head in a bit though!

    Just wondering what people thoughts were as im bored shitless in work!

    Ross Noble. David Baddiel & Rob Newman (bit old but i think they are both still going).
    I like the Mighty Boosh - mental!
    I'm also a fan of Lenny Henry - anyone remember the show he did on tv where he ran a pirate radio station - i think his name was Delbert Wilkins.

    I'm afraid I am sometimes found tuning in to Radio 4 for comedy - there was a great send up of phone in shows called 'Down the Line', made by the creators of the Fast Show.

    Doug Stanhope is the closest i've come to him, and that is at a push to compare them...

    but he isn't liked in the US very much and is largely unknown and unbooked because he says whatever he thinks, so in that case he is similar

    frankie boyle, bill bailey and ross noble are a few of my faves

    i go to Up The Creek in greenwich when i can, usually good comedians there.... and its only a fiver on sundays!!

    Gotta be Lee Evans all day...that man is a fuckin genius...went to see him last year and he was class...easily my favorite comedian
