Upcoming Albums Of 2014...

We're not posting random tracks in this thread now are we?

Tech Itch has new track = Tech Itch working on new album

If that's the case then every artist that has a new track out must also be working on an album.

Right. It's prolly for an album he's working on... Hopefully.

Japanese artist (and one-time RA Podcaster) Yu Asaeda is known for a meticulous and often experimental take on bass-heavy dance music that spans drum & bass, techno, dubstep and beyond, developing a more freeform approach as time goes on. Cutting his teeth on French label 7even, where he released his debut solo album Bilateral last year.

Earlier on in 2014, he debuted on Berlin label Samurai Horo, which will handle the release of this second one. Reportedly cobbled together from a prolific few months which produced over 40 tracks, Binaural is a heavily stripped-back record "using organic, often found sounds as harmonic and percussive signatures," according to the press release, "travelling further and further into uncharted sonic and rhythmic territory." Binaural continues the trend of the once vinyl-only label moving into CD and digital territory, but it'll come in double-vinyl format as well.

No love for the Space Station 94 LP on IM:LTD? Every tune is strong. There's a nice theme and there's something for everyone.

It's quietly one of the most consistent labels in dnb.

Is there actually a 12 of this or is it download only?

Listened to SPY twice so far today and love it - will listen to the 12s later in the week

Digital only and it is a cracking release. Im:Ltd and Flexout are probably the most underrated D&B labels out there.

Xilent is working on an LP / album. Not sure if it will be out in 2014 though, but thought I would put it here anyway

Besides ‘Free Me’ with Charlotte Haining, you’ve been a bit quiet of late; a tell tale sign that an LP is in the works. What can you tell us?

It’s true, there’s a full length debut album finally happening in a matter of months. It will consist of, from what I’ve observed, everything that people grew to appreciate in my music – starting with heavily melodic and pumping vocal dubstep, through complex supersaw electro and glitch-hop – into my drum & bass inventions that I started with, which people dubbed as ‘ultrafunk’. I want to show a whole spectrum of genres and take people on a 14-track futuristic adventure, where they won’t be able to distinguish where the songs begin or end. At the moment I’m still perfecting the final pieces of the puzzle of which include the most recent ones we’ve heard on @AudioPornRecs in the past months. More singles preceding the LP to come; this is just the beginning.

Out November 10th

The young Bristol producer is a relative newcomer to the world of drum & bass. Interested in the genre and producing since he was a teenager, 20-year old Owen Brown only started releasing in 2012—but since then he's racked up EPs for Exit, Horizons and Berlin's Samurai Music, outlining a techno-influenced sound noted for its high production values and emphasis on atmospherics. The latter is responsible for Brown's debut, which the label describes as "intense dance floor tools," including detours into techno and noisier territory. The LP includes collaborations with label-mate Ena (who just announced his own album on Samurai) , Indigo and Skeptical.

Tracklist
01. A Thousand And One
02. Reflex
03. Segment feat. Skeptical

07. Inclination
