hah @ the resampling tutorial.
This bass is very common, but each to their own has their own style to make it by years of tweaking their own sounds.
Get a synth, put a low pitched triangle wave in it, then a HIGHpassed saw/square wave, and adjust levels, add some distortion to "glue" both waves up, add new oscs, effects, reverbs, distorted reverbs, more distortion... resample it, anything you can think of that you would like to make it your own sound.

yup, first one is a planet dust kind of reece, second one is reece too but probably made from distorted sine waves instead, so detune say an 808 kick and dist it for starters
