    listening on headphones.

intro drums sounds nice and crisp.
snare on the main kit is weighty as fuck!
i like this style, tho i can never really make it myself.
whole thing flows with a really nice groove, can definitely see it working the dance

i like this track, though i don't think the snare fits in well with the style, you've noted this though. everything else is sick. for the snare i'd of chosen something harder myself and not as splashy on the hi's

    keep it up dexcell

teasing me up to the drop so far.............

drop is kool. hasnt got that bad a sound to it, i think im inclined to disagree with whoever said the snare doesnt suite, just cos its not the typical booming low mid type snare doesnt mean doesnt fit

If i was gona be picky about the drums, id say they could do with another layer or two

tune overall is ok, i think it needs more direction though, doesnt really go anywhere for me personally

sorry if that sounds a bit harsh lads, got a pretty good sound in there tho, some real ncie stabs too

    good work

    Nice one man!

Yeah just been doing the drums as we speak lol

i do want to do more to it structure wise so it keeps it interestin but yesterday i had been doing it for to long so it just all merged into a big mess in my head so i thought i'd export it and se what people thought and see if they had any ideas for it.

    Cheers man

Re: Dexcell - Idioms (Minimal Tech/NFunk)

    hey zeal

its not that it isn't a typical low booming snare for me (i think you misunderstood me),

I'd welcome a lighter lower but harder snare (i.e. a snare drum in which the snare lines have been detached from it)

    cheers

I love this sound. This is the style I would love to produce, but I end up going in other directions everytime I try lol!

    I love it

Re: Dexcell - Idioms (Minimal Tech/NFunk)

im not sayin hes wrong but i think what zeal was saying is to his personal taste really, this is the kind of tune the bass would go off on a club system.

i love that its not trying to get in your face dnb
