The call of duty series has done nothing new or special since Cod4, which was an absolute milestone of a game (think I racked up something like 31 days online I loved it that much)- since then its been the same old over the top, easy ass gameplay the previous title had to it, I used to seriously rape online on MW2- so much so I eventually got bored of it and sold it, its the same shit over and over- same people chill in the same sniper spots, same firefights break out in the same place and the same cunts will always think they're the shit because they hacked to tenth prestige to enlarge their E-penis.

I was always optimistic about the Battlefield series, and if im being honest I wasnt overly won at first- I didnt think it had the same smoothness and quick gameplay that COD had, but the more I played the more I realised how you had to look at it from a different angle to really appreciate it for how godlike it is, the chaos that you can be thrown into as soon as a tank starts firing on the building you're running around, the sniping is unrivaled, the fact you can spawn on teammates- and playing as a squad is so much more fun than teaming up on COD, there is so much more to battlefield than just working out where everyone is spawning and running in that general direction.

MW3 is something im looking forward to, but I cant see it being anything other than another money making 'award smashing' game which all the 10 year old Americans will buy so they can run around making quick-scoping montages, Battlefield 3 will at least try and push the boundaries somewhat and concentrate on making a good game more than making money.

In music terms: MW3 is Sub Focus Live, Battlefield 3 is S.P.Y.

One thing battlefield need to brush up on is menus, joining squads and games and the general set up of everything. With COD, it's easy. Takes ages on battlefield doe.
