I use FL studio mainly make my own sounds/samples.

samples packs are great for starting out.
try the drumsound and bassline smith pack from loopmasters or the danny byrd packs are good aswell as the david carbone ones.

there a few good ones to start on but as u progress, get some VST plug ins to make your own sounds ;)

is fruity any good? i wo learn logik but i hurd its onli on mac :(

Yup only on mac mate. but im getting it cus:

1) i need a better computer than this slow peice of s**t so im getting a mac

and 2) its worth it anyways. logic is the best software of em all imo. diffinetly got used to its basics the quickest and comftable with it the most.

Ableton 7 for the arrangement, FL Studio for the ... synths and other stuff.

Danny Byrd Sample Pack, Nu:Tone sample pack (both are brilliant) and some other samples too.

(4GBs of which)
