fixing F***ed channels?

hey everyone, is there any way to improve a crackly sticky channel ?

sometimes when i have the channel fader all the way down, it thinks it is all the way up,



I have canned air and contact cleaner if that helps !

Take it apart and get some solvent degreaser in there or just replace the fader. What mixer is it?

Pretty shit mixer. NUmark DXM09 two channel thing. But yeah, its just really temperamental, does my head in mid-mix when i'm tryin to bring a track in slowly !
