listen closely, why would it echo if the volume doesn't really decrease. It makes sense doesn't it?
 
the "safe" in what people think he's saying is an echo of somewhere (possibly cut off)

SLow is there money riding on this or something, or do you really like not to be proven wrong and may jst need to swallow you pride? Either way I can't see how it could be so important... But I listened to Sphinx clip and can hear all 3 suggestions so meh.

Both of these are true. Which is why it's a very important question.

I note that there is no unanimous verdict on it as yet, just people claiming what they're hearing is correct, however I would like to thank all contributors for their opinions so far.
