    http://free.avg.com/download

When i got my laptop back from the shop after a virus attack, they installed that for free in the shop..it does updates everyday, and scans your computer, etc..just make sure to regularlly scan your comp, especially if you downloaded anything that day, just to play it safe. and update before each scan.

it helped me last one i had the other day. puts them in a "virus vault"...you can empty the vault if you choose. All I know is, it was fine after the scan and it found the one threat. Not sure, but they're all different, etc. I used to use this one:

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

I just didn't keep up with scans, etc. so prob why i got caught with a bad one..

2 or three of you go into Currys, your armed with a cordless drill:

2 of you proceed to keep all staff busy while they discuss televisions and surround sound while you quickly pull up a lappy, un-drill the bottom panel and pull out the drive

hey presto new HD with Operating system haha

Avast and Avira are regarded as the best free anti virus. If you have Avira running all the time (hardly uses any processing power) then you shouldn't get any viruses in the first place as it finds them as soon as they appear and deals with it straight away.

Malwarebytes is badass as well at removing spyware, etc.

CCleaner is worth a look as well for general day to day cleaning.

    This.

Iīve got Avira Antivir and I think its marvellous and for free it is, just makes it better.

Malwarebytes is big.Have caught Navipromo, bad thing, browser opened shit ads all the time.Malwarebytes found it (couldnīt remove it tho, had to remove with Navilog)where others didnīt find shit.

Iīm using CCleaner but I think it doesnīt remove everything.Installed Sweepi for a comparison..After using CCleaner, I used Sweepi and it told me there were still 23MB to remove..But perhaps the thing lies.I hate Computers

Itīs not a crisis, itīs a scam.
