On Bank Holiday Sunday the 3rd May we return to Chelmsford’s most underground Venue the Cave for a night of Drum & Bass & Dubstep at its finest. Headlining the event will be a pair of artists pioneering their sound in the world of Drum & Bass as well as breaking boundaries in the Dubstep scene, after their hugely successful album ‘More Than A Lot’, which has received huge support on Radio 1, MTV and by Dj’s all over the planet. Their latest track featuring Kano is currently on the A list of Radio 1s playlist and the B list of MTV’s so you will be hard pressed not to have heard this adventure into Uk Hip-Hop, which has taken them to mainstream success and just recently took the National Drum & Bass Awards by storm and won Best Producer, Best Track for 'Take Me Away' and Best Album for ‘More Than A lot’, it is, none other than, from Ram Records, Chase & Status!!!!!!The Multi Award winning producers will be performing a 90 minute journey through Drum & Bass & Dubstep hosted by their front man MC I.D.
Supplying the Dubstep we have Dev from the Chelmsford Ravers click and resident at Dub:Tech and the hugely popular Black Hole parties. Fused Forces have also been added to the line up, for those not familiar, they are Adsassin an Moriatti Dubstep producers/dj's from Essex UK, residents at Innovation's Dubsector and with releases on various labels such as Fake ID, On The Dub, Art Recordings, Dub Frenquency, Dubstep Division, as aswell as running the "Scruffy_Hoodlum, Substance Abuse & Despicable Bullys" imprints.
Warming up the drums and bass will be Intense’s up & coming talent Whitehaze & Vision alongside Mission Projects MC Nme. Bringing the sub bass with his legendary Deep Beats will be DJ Exel a veteran of the D&B circuit, hosted by Messy MC from the EZ Rollers. Shuffle who set up the shop many moons ago in 1999 will be performing a Decade Of Intense Showcase, complimented by the lyrics of MC Indica. Intense Records longest running staff member and co owner of Planetdnb & Radical Beats, Unix.DJ will be bringing the danger with his heavyweight selection all hosted by Awol and World Dance resident from back in the day, the multi award winning MC Fearless.
