DNBForum Radio?

I was thinking it would be good idea to have a radio stream on here for the DJs to use. It wouldn't be too hard to set up and we could use Winamp and Shoutcast. The only thing would be if you had a lot of listerners, would the server be able to handle it?

Nah I don't mean stream sets, I mean a DNBForum online radio like dnbheaven, krisis, force, bassjunkees etc. I mean like DJs off here could do live shows.

Just have a loop of the best member mixes when you log into the site! that would be cool so there is something playing all the time!!

Basicly... I think SDM and Triple M would like to have a bit more of a say in the matter... but neither have much time on their hands to do so... it also costs money to get it started....

I mean like ive said before im cool with running it... only problem is the costs... we already have a good community to make the radio station a worth while thing to do....

its relatively easy to set up.... especially if we use shoutcast etc... we could use other streaming methods which are alot more stable but shoutcast etc is easy and pretty simple to set up and run.

But unfortunatly we cannot go ahead with this sort of thing without permision from SDM or Triple M.

if i remember at one point we used to have a live stream coming from dnbradio.com or something like that.... but if im not mistaken... there was hardly any members who DJ'd on there.....


anyway..... i really dont think this will ever happen. Its a shame... but you have to respect the decisions of the top dogs...
