i wanna make a jump up tune...help pls!

all my bass samples are too dark!!

i really wanna get that jump up,true playaz style!

anywhere know where i can get sum more "anthemy" bass i guess!

im using reason 2.5 and im not sure whether im lookin for a .wav sample of bass or jus a patch for the malstrom machine..

Absynt and Junglist are both good. ima not sure if they work in Reason, they are VSTi.

You can start with a factory preset, (which all all good) and tweak till desired. I like prodding with 2 basses: a higer pitched bass then a sub. You can combine the 2 and have a full frequency bassline or have the sub doing its own thing.

Sub on a real system doin its own thing is quality and using a higer pitched bass allows the tune to be heard when 40subs are not available therefore keeping the tune jump up when theres no rave in sight.

i think the main thing about a jump up bassline is using the same bass to play a little melody. none of that tech step stab and answer bizness. not sure if that made any sense to you but its the strategy i personally apply for jumpup.
