you need to open up that beat slicer program with some thinks, solprides,
or amens, BUT DONT USE THE MESSED UP BEAT SLICER, just look and
see were it makes the dermarkations for element changes timewise,
then open up another sound editor, and chop the beat up your self,
so you can preserve stereo and everything. Next save all the parts of the
chopped up beat, then incorporate back into Fruityloops or whatever
tracker through the sampler. You can label them think1 think2 think3
etc. to how many parts you had chopped up. You can load up the
low quality sliced up beat to see where the program puts each part
of the beat, then you can ditch that and load it yourself with the
beat you sliced yourself. Then play around with placing the downbeats,
snares and high hats at different places. Try to have a running cymbal
line going on in there some where, it helps with ambience of the
beat, and then break it up with no cymbals and stuttered stabs from
the bass drum and snares. Peace.
