    Advise With RECYCLE!!!!

    Hi

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to work with recycle. I have just got a copy. I can see that the slices up samples nice and easy but I am trying to retempo some and getting no joy.

Any advice would be cool on its use and when it is best used.

Im just starting out in production so if this is a stupid question I appologise

    Anyway.

    Peace.

I've been using v2.00 for quite a while and it lets you change tempo. I had 1.7 and i think it will only timestretch via a hardware sampler.

If you load up the sample, set the sensitivity so it slices the break up into the right number of chunks, then go file, export and it will save each slice as a separate .wav sample (eg break1, break2 etc..). It will ask you for number of bars.....i always type 1 cos i don't think it matters. I'm assuming you want to rearrange the break in a sequencer?

I don't just use it for breaks either.....sequenced synth riffs or even vocals can be recycled.

    Hope that helped.
