Changing User Names

I've been getting an increasing number of private messages asking me to change User Names. This is something we don't actively support so I won't be honouring any further requests unless there is a very good reason for the update.

I dread to think how many other requests the Mods are getting if I'm getting almost one a day.

Finally, updating the case of your User Name is not a valid reason e.g. djusername to DJUserName

I know you do not actively support this, but if one day u get drunk and read this post and understand that i HATE being Joey and would much rather be Joseph AdhD and decide to drunkenly change my name, i wont tell no one, thats a promise. x x x

why do people want to change names. its like damn ive thought of something cooler, ffs my user name is Dan M because my name is Dan Moore...... straight forward, no problems, easily recognisable i just dont get what the problem is.

its not really about post count its just ur less likely to get serious responses if ur a new member or just have a new account cos most people wont no its u an not check ur thread etc

like id like to change to Ethix , from ETHIX,

and joey wants to be joseph etc etc ..

so people would obviosly kno who you are..

He's got my vote for a change.
I'm on the edge of regretting my name too, and it's not that long since i came on.
