Female vocals??

Does anyone know where producers get there female vocals from? I know some of them use 'real' vocalists and not samples but some of them must use samples. Where would I get vocal samples from that are free to use in my tunes? I don't really want to go down the remixing path to be honest. Is there any good websites or should I get myself a sample CD, if there is any good ones like?

Doesn't look paticularly amazing, but for £15 you can't go wrong. I'd hazard a guess that there are similar things available from different sites.

Only other alternative is to get some mics and a mixing desk and record your own. I'm experimenting with that at the moment and it is a lot of fun
