alright guys, im working with my first female singer on one of my tracks, but was wondering if you had any decent tips on making vocals stand out in the mix?

add abit of reverb..with about a 0.5sec decay...erm if ur using flstudio play around with a parametric eq....playin around with a chorus can make it sound kool aswell....ideally make it as sharp as possible...i tent to cutoff anything below 30hz if its female vocals
