APEX (UNKNOWN ERROR) 2 Hour Set
After being the mastermind behind the infamous "Unknown Error" production force for three years, Rob Dickeson a.k.a. Apex has emerged as a new solo artist.
With Unknown Error featuring on labels such as Lifted Music, Renegade Hardware, Moving Shadow, Defcom and Horizons, covering a diverse range of styles, Apex has already begun to continue from where he left off.
His debut work as Apex - 'The Space Between feat. Ayah', has made its way straight onto Hospital Recordings and into the BBC Radio1 D&B Top Ten. The track was released in April 07, and also features on the 'Weapons of Mass Creation 3' CD release in in the same month. Andy C has also picked it up for his latest acclaimed D&B Arena Mix release.
Apex will be pushing his sound primarily through the pioneering Lifted Music collective, with his debut EP for the label dropping around Feburary 2008 (official date TBA), entitled Wall Of Sound.
All 4 Tracks are on display for your listening pleasure..."Same Old Blues", "Hench", "In Motion", and "Nowhere To Run". "Breathe", which was originally scheduled for release as part of the Wall Of Sound, will now be part of the next EP. Lifted have already caused shockwaves throughout the scene with their tearing debut release The Prologue, and Spor's Supernova. Also watch out for the forthcoming collaboration EP dropping around Jan 2008...in which Apex features on the Andy C favourite "Dirge".
"Falling" and "Weeping Willow" will form a single to be released around Feb 2008 on the Horizons Music Label. "The Yearning (Apex VIP)" and the "Bachelors of Science-Strings Track-Apex RMX" will be featured on the forthcoming "Dream Thief" LP (also on Horizons Music) dropping around march 2008.
2008 should prove to be an exciting year for Apex, enhancing previous methods whilst exploring new territory and shaping a fresh sound.

MC FOKUS
MC FOKUS is a creative and versatile lyricist who knows the importance of letting the music breath, prefering to complement - rather than overpower- the DJ. With supreme timing, as opposed to constant chat, Fokus aims to weave his rhymes into the music, connecting with the crowd as both a host and a lyrical performer.
Since the start of his career, in 1998, Fokus has received a warm reception from audiences throughout the North and South of the UK, and has been able to hone his skills while working with some of the industries finest artists (including personal favourites' D Bridge, Commix & DJ Storm). .
He is a regular feature on the LONDON DnB circuit, where he is RESIDENT MC for London's respected FUTURE THINKIN collective (promoters of the TRAFFIC events and Future Thinkin Recordings), and at the Brixton-based BACKDROP parties.
FOKUS has also built up a strong reputation in EUROPE, where he continues to rock crowds in Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and Belgium. Here he has performed alongside a diverse range of DJ's including: SKITTY (Metalheadz/Bassbin), DJ INK (Renegade Hardware), NOOKIE (Strictly Digital), CALYX (Moving Shadow), VICIOUS CIRCLE (Hardware/DISC4), CATACOMB (Canada-ShadyBrain) and LOST SEQUENCE (Citrus Recs).
Fokus is an MC with experience and dedication, a new breed of MC whose lyrics have meaning, rhythm and substance, an MC who understands the music and the crowd.
