I went to the D n B Awards on Saturday, it was a shame to see almost all the awards going to people from London, I'm not doubting their talent or workmanship. But, I feel the best event in the UK this year was Raveology, no doubt!!!

Shadow Demon Coalition did not win any awards....not a problem, but no recognition. By far the SDC are the most spontaneous, fun and crowd hyping MCs. I didn't understand how Skibba won best crowd hyping mc and best lyrical content. Obviously the people haven't seen how Bassman hypes up the crowd and all the crowd raises up the Finga!!! When Alex Reece - Pulp Fiction is dropped all the crowd look for one man to MC on it, that man is Bassman. Trigga's lyrical content is second to none, no one is as sharp as Triggz, and he can tun demon too n bus up lyrics like "dutty like a wha, Ray Keith, stamina, heavy screwdriver, like a wha, murda central, man like me nuh leave evidence, when me murda man me jump over fence......" MC Spyda legendary Ragga Muffin, one off style, which no man can imitate "Can't see we face, balaclava!!" Juiceman, a legend in his own right, too. Not forgetting the newer additions, Shaydee, Loki n Skepta!!!!

Hopefully, this set below will change some people's mind about the SDC.

I think you have to listen a lot of dnb and go to a lot of raves before appreciating onliners mc's.
i dont think it is representated in the votes at mtv/dnba awards, based on myspace bulletins clicks and banneers.

when pdiddy wins a mtv music award for best song, do you really thing it is?

i dont say Awarded people are not talented, it s just "mainstream dnb awards"
 
SDC are ok together but my opinion on bassman is he's a twat with an annoying fucking voice and he makes gay meowing noise
 
naa bassman,s sick, he may not be that talented but he has qualities that most mc;s dont have and he n shadow demon are sick together. not the best mc group in the world but they good.
 
Find SDC grows on you over time...thought Bassman was shit first time I heard him but after seeing him live and further listenin began to appreciate how unique his style n lyrics are...reckon Triggas the sickest of the bunch tho
