Ok folks here is my setup
2x Technics 1210 MK5
2x Shure M44-7 carts
Numark PPD01 mixer (I hate this mixer, but I got it with the decks and serato in a good deal)
Rane Serato Scratch Live SL1
Computer (for Serato)
Pioneer AV receiver hooked up to some shitty speakers
Sennheiser HD201 headphones with sellotape
Reasons why I hate the mixer:
the effects come on when you don't want them to, I think its broken.
The filters (HPF and LPF) are useless, such a shame.. They are activated with the EQ knobs, most retarded idea ever. And when you activate them the volume gets louder.
The faders feel like they are made of cheese.
Pre fader level meters don't tell you where 0db is.
I'm looking at buying a second hand Vestax PCV-275, hopefully its better than this worn out crap I have at the moment.
